We took the train from Munich and went on a day excursion to Landshut. This is inside the St. Martin Cathedral. I remember the clock tower as a child, but never had been inside the cathedral. I saw the inside for the first time with my son in tow; it was as if everything had come full circle.
There is a castle that sits atop a hill overlooking the town of Landshut. The castle is named Burg Trausnitz. It is quite a climb up to it, especially with a two year old. I remember having to carry him up and down the hill. My arms ach just thinking about it.
